MTG Dire Flail

Next up, Dire Flail! The composition for this one was quite tricky as the focus was on the pirates weapon and although I could have just had an arm pop out of the side holding it like in one of my sketches (see Instagram- adevineart) I thought that looked kinda dull. I wanted to show off as much of the pirate as possible but without taking the focus away from the weapon. Contrast is key!

This card was done as a double-faced card along with Dire Blunderbuss for Lost Caverns of Ixalan.
